• acts as a catalyst for driving better performance through sharing practice and ideas;
  
• promote accountability, transparency, openness, fairness, justice and opportunities;
  
• promote efficiency, effectiveness and quality service standards.

To achieve this we will lobby the government to: improve local public services, regenerate areas to create more jobs and work towards producing a sustainable environment.
