 The website is one of the projects of Maroof Enjoining Good ltd. in collaboration with Ibadanland Development Association and Sustainable Development Initiatives in Action cic. They are all companies registered in the UK as Private, Charity and Community Interest Company.
We aim to:
- promote, develop and support effective community development and community activity for the benefit of the whole community within Ibadanland,
- support improvement and innovation in local government, by focusing on the issues that are important to the people, using tried and tested ways of working,
- promote developing councillors, local government chairman and officers in key positions through leadership programmes, courses will range from the prestigious Leadership Academy programmes for leading councillors, to the Academy for Executive Leadership for chief executives, directors and heads of service.
- lobby the government in developing good practice and support the ward improvement and efficiency partnerships.
We do this through networks, online communities of good practices and web resources by:
- enabling the community to work together and network and thus, use the resources at hand to improve their social, political and economic situations in Ibadan;
- preserving and trying to ensure that every stakeholders of ibadanland is present on the site;
- becoming a worldwide reference point for everything people need in Ibadan;
- improving the site with your help and get the support of the whole community to help it continue.
We believe that every councillor should acts as a champion for their ward and for the people they represent and all the stakeholders should work together to support, promote and improve Ibadanland.
